Renowned for her plein-air paintings, Hassan’s artwork honors the contributions of Emirati women like Nabati poet Ousha bint Khalifa Al Suwaidi and depicts iconic sites such as the Khorfakkan Fortress. Visitors can enhance their experience with a locally-inspired afternoon tea.

Carpet Art Exhibition at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental
Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental in Abu Dhabi has partnered with the Fatima Bint Mohamed Bin Zayed Initiative for an exhibition that merges art with a humanitarian cause. Held in the Grand Dome, this exhibition features handcrafted carpets by Zuleya, with proceeds going toward the development of underprivileged Afghan communities. The carpets, made from Afghan sheep fleece, are purchased from nomads in northern Afghanistan.

Free Screening and Panel Discussions at Expo City Dubai
Expo City Dubai’s Women’s Pavilion, in collaboration with the United Nations Office for the Co-ordination of Humanitarian Affairs. It will host Honour in Action, a day-long program dedicated to celebrating the humanitarian contributions of Emirati women. The event includes two-panel discussions featuring female Emirati leaders, humanitarian workers, and activists. As well as a screening of Behind the Frontlines, a documentary that tells the stories of humanitarian workers and their dedication to serving others.
