Catherine Nunez is known for her pursuit of painting in the events industry which began in 2015 and continues even today. She is a self-taught Dubai-based artist from the Philippines who is inspired by her family’s long historical tradition of hand painting handicrafts, wooden sculptors, and designed furniture.
Her artistry and style involve life and the beauty of the creations and it fills her mind and heart with appreciation. It moves her emotionally and spiritually to feel the beauty of little things we often take for granted. The beauty of the things around us is like an artwork that she believes isn’t purposeless or accidental which enriches our lives.
The nature of her work is on-the-spot artwork, showcasing talent in the crowd as part of entertainment booked by various events companies, government, or private entities. Her imagination and critical thinking help generate new ideas with value. With any resolution, she is committed to compel and propel change and deliver excellent visual art according to the client’s needs
Catherine has exhibited at RAK Fine Arts Festival, 2021, School and Children Show DWTC, 2019, and some galleries and private events in the UAE. She has also conducted workshops at different private sectors.
