Tarsila Schubert is a Brazilian-born street artist who has committed her life to art, drawing inspiration from the spirit of her multi-cultural upbringing. Her goal is to blend all inputs that we are exposed to daily into a seemingly chaotic yet precisely structured framework, that symbolize her personality and traditions.
Tarsila was the first woman to paint a wall in Amman, Jordan, in honor of the FIFA World Women’s Cup, and has been invited to adorn the Dorsey Park area in Miami during Art Basel Week. A six-month project in the visual arts brought her to Dubai and eight years later, Tarsila is one of the most sought-after artists in the UAE, specifically for art in public spaces.
Her most significant takeaway from being an artist and an entrepreneur is a lesson that many creatives acquire far too late in their careers- the ability to appreciate one’s own creative work. She has collaborated with brands such as Audi, Adidas, Red Bull, Unilever, Dell, and many more and her artworks have been exhibited worldwide including the UAE, the USA, Brazil, Italy, Portugal, Spain, France, UK, Cambodia, Lebanon, Kuwait, and Jordan.
