Sara Negm, born in Alexandria, Egypt, is a visual artist currently residing and working in Dubai. Negm has been working as a professional artist ever since she graduated in 2005. Her educational background is consistent with her career; Negm holds a bachelor’s in painting and studied in the faculty of fine arts.
Negm is passionate about art since she was a child. As a kid, she would dabble in crayons and coloring books and it carved the path to what would later become her career choice.
She uses oil paints to paint her artwork- Negm has always said that her paintings are a mirror, reflecting her energy as a person. As an artist, she explores the beauty hidden within different cultures, ancient societies, paying homage to what has been lost and what usually goes unnoticed. She is a firm believer that everyone is connected to each other; we all use the same tools differently to express ourselves. Negm calls her work a part of herself. Confident in her love for painting, she uses her impressive skills to tell the world who she is and what she is passionate about.
