Aston Martin has unveiled N°001 Minami Aoyama, its first bespoke private residence in Asia. Located in the prestigious Omotesandō district of Tokyo, the four-storey townhouse reflects the brand’s signature design language and commitment to craftsmanship beyond automotive innovation.

Developed in partnership with Japanese luxury real estate firm VIBROA Inc., the 724-square-metre (7,793 sq. ft.) residence is a showcase of architectural artistry and refined living. The project continues Aston Martin’s expansion into lifestyle spaces, following similar ventures in Miami and the UAE.

Luxury Meets Performance-Inspired Design

At the heart of the residence is a dramatic sculptural steel staircase, drawing visual parallels to the aerodynamic lines of Aston Martin cars. The design, led by Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman and Aston Martin’s in-house team, reflects the brand’s obsession with proportion, materiality and performance.

One of the home’s standout features is an automotive gallery built to display two Aston Martin vehicles like sculptural installations. Adjacent spaces include a rooftop terrace with views of Tokyo Tower, a private spa, golf simulator, wine cellar, and a dedicated audio zone featuring a Bowers & Wilkins sound system.

A Sensory Journey Through Space and Material

The residence is designed to create a sensory journey from the basement to the rooftop. Interiors transition from darker materials—like black lava stone in the kitchen and rich wood tones in the spa—to brighter, lighter finishes above. This deliberate contrast symbolises retreat and renewal, offering residents an immersive spatial experience.

Additional luxury details include Hinoki wood spa cladding, curated Molteni&C furnishings, and custom finishes that speak to both Eastern craftsmanship and Western design precision.

N°001 Minami Aoyama is Aston Martin’s latest step into lifestyle real estate, marking the brand’s growing footprint in Asia. The Tokyo launch underscores the company’s ambition to bring its legacy of performance and sophistication into new domains.

“This residence is not just a home—it’s a physical expression of the Aston Martin philosophy,” said Marek Reichman. “It’s about precision, emotion, and presence, brought to life through architecture.”

With this milestone, Aston Martin deepens its commitment to a design-led future, where luxury living and high-performance aesthetics meet in perfect balance.
