The Mexican Embassy in Abu Dhabi has opened an exhibition of art that includes the creations of 42 Mexican and Emirati artists. Many of the pieces in the exhibition will be available for purchase through November 8th.

The 212th anniversary of Mexico’s independence (September 16) and the 47th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Mexico and the UAE coincide with the “UAE to Mexico” exhibition, which was organised in partnership with the Emirates Fine Arts Society.

“People can engage and learn about the similarities and differences between their societies naturally through culture. One of the main responsibilities of the Mexican Cultural Diplomacy is to promote and encourage the exchange of cultural conversation with the rest of the globe.

The exhibition, which includes 50 items including oil paintings, acrylic pieces, and fabric-based works, is the ninth art exhibition to be held at the Mexican Embassy.

This display demonstrates the close ties of brotherhood between the [UAE and Mexico]. An elite group of Emirati artists connect with their Mexican counterparts during this noteworthy event, which is regarded as a festival of the arts and cultures. The Emirates Fine Arts Society released a statement that read, “It is a portal to cultural exchange and integration, striving to achieve knowledge goals and common high human ideals.
