The BeingShe organization will host the much-awaited BeingShe Excellence Awards on the 12th of June 2022 at Sofitel Hotel, Downtown Dubai, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Juma Bin Maktoum Al Maktoum of the Dubai Ruling Family.
BeingShe Excellence Awards recognize and award female talent across eight major categories, which include commodities, wellness, business, human resources, corporate, hospitality, media & art, and health & fitness.
While the awards ceremony is a closed event, there will be a public exhibition from 12 pm onwards in the hotel foyer on the same day themed ‘Voice of Art’. Passersby will feast their eyes on art from various artists, and there is a lot in store from brands like Vanitis Beauty, Kai Aesthetic Clinic, Wellbeing Sanctuary, Flores Isler, and Bluechip Investment LLC, who are also part of the exhibition.
BeingShe Excellence awards have in the past honored influential women like Suad Alshamsi, the first UAE female aircraft engineer, and have been described as a noble cause for women’s empowerment. The event has since created a buzz with big media houses like Gulf News, Channel 4, Radio 4, Magzoid Magazine etc already announced as official media partners.
This year’s judging panel will have Shaikha Al-Mutawa, a Master Coach in Self Development & NLP, and Maya AlHawary the 1st Emirati Arab Ph.D. Scholar in EQ and Leadership, Kausar Suleman the Owner of Ksenses World General Trading LLC, and Caroline Trichet, the General Manager of Sofitel Dubai Downtown.
Women are invited to nominate themselves under the said categories for a chance to be considered for an award of excellence. Registrations can be done via the company’s website page with the last day being the 31st of May 2022. As the norm, winners will be announced during the gala night with over 200 VVIP guests in attendance and the show will be hosted by the famous Afghan Australian radio presenter Maz Hakim.
In a statement to Gulf News, the founding CEO of BeingShe, Ms. Aparna Bajpai, mentioned that they will be doing more for the 2022 winners to help elevate their personal brands. “Through our media partners, winners will get radio interviews, newspaper features, professional portraits, and red carpet interviews.” We are not stopping with just the award ceremony, she said.
During the same event, guests will witness the official launch of the Flores Isler parfum which is a self-empowerment tool sold for a cause to help abused women and children. There will also be a fashion walk to display exquisite designs by Walid Atallah, the famous Lebanese fashion designer of international fame. This is definitely not an event to be missed.
