Bentley has unveiled a new generation of high-performance hybrids, expanding its electrified offerings across three of its flagship models: the Continental GT, Continental GT Convertible (GTC), and the Flying Spur. With a refined blend of power, luxury, and efficiency, the new models are powered by a 4.0-liter V8 plug-in hybrid engine producing 670 horsepower and 685 lb-ft of torque.
Striking Performance Meets Electric Efficiency
This advanced hybrid system is paired with a powerful electric motor, enabling the Continental GT to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds. Impressively, it also offers up to 53 miles of pure electric driving, making it the most capable Bentley hybrid to date in terms of electric range.
Although positioned just below the brand’s flagship 771 hp Ultra Performance Hybrid in the Speed models, this new powertrain surpasses the previous W12 Speed in nearly every performance metric. Each of the three core models will now be available in three distinct trims — Core, Speed, and Azure — with Azure prioritizing wellness and passenger comfort.
Design Elegance and Interior Craftsmanship Enhanced
The fourth-generation Continental GT and GTC showcase refined design updates. These include Bentley’s signature black matrix grille, new Harmony crystal-inspired headlamps with bespoke welcome animations, and chrome-accented tailpipes. The cabins reflect the brand’s dedication to craftsmanship, featuring fluted leather seats, customizable dark chrome or bright chrome finishes, and 3D Harmony diamond quilting.
In the Azure trim, enhancements include massage-enabled Wellness seating, mood lighting, and an emphasis on comfort-driven technology — offering a more serene in-cabin experience.
Flying Spur Hybrid Combines Power with Premier Luxury
The new Flying Spur High Performance Hybrid mirrors the performance ethos of its siblings, achieving 0 to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds. Designed for up to five passengers, the Flying Spur Azure elevates rear-seat comfort with heated, ventilated, and massaging seats in both rows.
All new hybrid models come equipped with Bentley’s advanced Active Chassis system. Features such as Dynamic Ride, rear-wheel steering, and an electronic limited-slip differential ensure a smooth yet dynamic driving experience across various road conditions.
Pricing for the 2025 Continental GT starts at $265,900 USD, with orders now open through Bentley’s authorized dealer network.
