When she joined her famous parents, Beyoncé and Jay Z, at the Wearable Art Gala last night, Blue Ivy Carter was definitely in her zone. The fundraiser was co-founded by Tina Knowles Lawson, Bey’s mother, and her grandmother to promote WACO Theater’s child mentoring initiatives.
The Carter family attended last night’s organization-sponsored “Harlem Nights” theme event, which featured legendary 1920s and 1950s clothing donning their sharpest suits.
However, Blue Ivy was the star of the show when she got into a bidding spat with Monique Rodriguez, the creator of Mielle Organics, and her husband, Melvin, over a set of Lorraine Schwartz Diamond earrings that had formerly belonged to Beyoncé.
The cute pre-teen waved the white flag to Monique Rodriguez and her spouse after bidding reached more than $80,000 in a video that has since gone viral. Monique Rodriguez and her husband won the earrings at a final offer of $105,000.
We already know where Blue Ivy’s sense of style and passion for fashion comes from. Blue Ivy has yet again proved that she is just like her parents in several ways!
