Ahmad Saeed Al Areef embarked on his creative journey with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from the prestigious College of Arts and Sciences at the American University of Sharjah in 2012. To deepen his artistic roots, he pursued a Masters in Art History and Museum Management at Paris-Sorbonne University, Abu Dhabi, in 2017.
Conceptual photography serves as Al Areef’s focal point, yet his creativity spans diverse mediums: digital art, video installations, photo manipulation, oil on canvas, and intricate ink-on-paper illustrations. By melding historical symbols with modern techniques, he sheds light on the significance of bygone cultures, preserving their heritage.
His talent has been celebrated through exhibitions across the UAE and globally. The ‘Portrait of a Nation’ exhibition at Abu Dhabi Music and Arts Foundation (ADMAF) in 2016 gained international recognition when it traveled to the ME Collectors Room Berlin/Olbricht Foundation in 2017. His influence extended to ‘UAE Design Stories’ exhibitions at Milan Design Week, London Design Fair, and Galerie Nikki in Paris in 2018.
