Bugatti has introduced the Équipe Pur Sang specification for its Tourbillon hypercar. This marks the start of exclusive customer configuration sessions worldwide.
Meaning “Thoroughbred Team,” the Équipe Pur Sang package reflects Bugatti’s deep motorsport legacy. To enhance performance, the package includes a front splitter, rear wing with endplates, carbon fiber engine cover inlays, and a unique 8-pipe exhaust system. Additionally, a redesigned rear diffuser improves downforce, making the car more aerodynamic.
Bugatti: Performance and Aerodynamic Upgrades
One of the standout features is the advanced wheel design. The Tourbillon’s 20-inch front and 21-inch rear directional wheels boost airflow to the rear radiator by 8%, significantly improving cooling. Inside, the hypercar features Alcantara performance seats, carbon fiber trim, and embroidered Équipe Pur Sang logos, reinforcing its racing-inspired identity.
Bugatti Managing Director Hendrik Malinowski highlighted the brand’s vision, stating, “The Tourbillon already represents a fusion of raw power and cutting-edge technology. With Équipe Pur Sang, we celebrate the pure racing soul of Bugatti.”
Power, Exclusivity, and Customization
Under the hood, the Tourbillon runs on a naturally aspirated 8.3L V16 engine producing 1,000 hp. It pairs with three electric motors, bringing the total output to an astonishing 1,800 hp. Despite being a hybrid, its T800 carbon composite chassis keeps the car lightweight, ensuring maximum performance.
Bugatti will manufacture only 250 units worldwide. Prices start at AED 16 million (€3.8 million, $4.12 million). Customers can personalize their vehicles at Bugatti’s Molsheim headquarters or through its exclusive retail partners.
