Burberry’s Fall/Winter 2025 runway show brought together a mix of British heritage and contemporary fashion. The front row featured a host of iconic celebrities, including Kim Cattrall, Skepta, Nicholas Hoult, and Lauryn Hill. Adding to the spectacle, a knight in shining armor made a striking appearance among the guests.

The runway itself was no less star-studded. Jason Isaacs, best known for his roles in Harry Potter and The White Lotus, as well as Richard E. Grant from Saltburn and Withnail and I, graced the catwalk. Their presence reinforced the show’s strong connection to British film and culture. Moreover, their involvement highlighted the brand’s ability to blend fashion with cinematic storytelling.

A Grand Setting Reflecting British Heritage

Held at The Tate Modern, the event featured a backdrop of draped fabrics depicting the British countryside. The imposing curtains and towering columns created an atmosphere reminiscent of grand estates, echoing the settings of the films featuring the celebrity models. This choice of venue and design emphasized Burberry’s deep-rooted connection to British tradition while providing a modern, theatrical edge. As a result, the show successfully blended history with contemporary artistry.

Daniel Lee, Burberry’s creative director, has spent past seasons striking a balance between innovation and heritage. The FW25 collection successfully blended both elements, offering a contemporary take on the brand’s classic aesthetic. Furthermore, the fusion of past and present ensured the collection’s broad appeal.

Outerwear Dominates the Collection

The collection’s standout feature was its outerwear. From fuchsia velour bombers to contrast fur-lined leather jackets, the pieces reflected both luxury and functionality. A printed fringe trench, worn by Naomi Campbell, highlighted Burberry’s signature craftsmanship. Meanwhile, the brand’s iconic check pattern made subtle yet impactful appearances. It peeked from beneath relaxed ensembles, adorned waistlines in knit co-ord sets, and appeared as a silk scarf tucked into a herringbone overcoat. A matching checked umbrella added a final touch of sophistication.

As London Fashion Week concludes, Burberry’s FW25 collection stands out as a celebration of British elegance infused with modernity. Additionally, the mix of contemporary fashion with traditional elements demonstrates the brand’s ability to evolve while maintaining its heritage.
