Cadillac has unveiled its most daring concept yet at The Quail: the Elevated Velocity, an all-electric 2+2 performance crossover that blends precision driving dynamics with off-road capability. Built on a lifted platform with 24-inch wheels optimized for desert terrain, the concept embodies duality—“Elevated” for its serene cabin and “Velocity” for its EV performance heritage.
Immersive Cabin with Wellness Tech
Inside, the futuristic interior transforms through immersive drive modes, each designed for a unique experience:
- Welcome Mode: Illuminated panels greet passengers as gull-wing doors rise dramatically.
- Elevate Mode: Turns the cabin into a recovery lounge with retractable controls, infrared light therapy, and guided breathing visuals.
- Velocity Mode: Delivers a focused performance feel with cool-toned lighting, a deployable steering wheel, and AR HUD navigation.
Drivers can also select e-Velocity for road performance, Terra for rugged trails, and Sand Vision for sandstorm-ready visibility.
Design: Vapor Blue Meets Desert Red
The Vapor Blue exterior, infused with flinty grey undertones, evokes glacial coolness, contrasted by an intensely red interior inspired by desert polo traditions. Signature Cadillac elements like vertical taillights and fluted translucent lighting amplify the concept’s futuristic presence.
Though Cadillac confirms Elevated Velocity is not headed for production, it signals the brand’s bold ambition: pushing beyond conventional luxury SUVs into the realm of electrified hyper-performance crossovers.
