Carhartt WIP is reinforcing the long-term commercial value of its core designs for Spring/Summer 2026 by updating its most culturally recognised silhouettes while preserving their original utility-driven identity. For the new season, the brand positions its heritage styles as enduring assets, demonstrating how garments such as the Detroit Jacket and the Double Knee Pant have moved beyond their industrial origins to become permanent references in contemporary fashion culture.

At the centre of the collection are the brand’s established “solid forms.” The Michigan Coat retains its four-pocket construction, the Detroit Jacket maintains its cropped, waist-length cut with a zipped chest pocket, and the Double Knee Pant continues to feature reinforced knee panels and a hammer loop. However, for SS26, these cornerstone pieces extend beyond the traditional Hamilton Brown, black and navy palette. Instead, they are introduced in new seasonal tones, including dusky turquoise, green and mauve, while the original colourways remain part of the range.

Beyond colour, the SS26 programme uses the archive as a platform for controlled design evolution. The Women’s Maeve Skirt adapts the Double Knee Pant into a panelled skirt finished with metal rivets, while the Clapton Jacket reworks the Michigan Coat in nylon and introduces a functional sleeve pocket. In addition, the Women’s Clark Jacket delivers a subtly oversized reinterpretation of the Detroit Jacket, aligning the brand’s boxy workwear proportions with current market preferences.

The Carhartt WIP Spring/Summer 2026 Icons collection is available now through select global retailers, Carhartt WIP flagship stores and the brand’s official online platform.
