To mark Earth Day 2025, CASETiFY is reimagining sustainability through creativity. Its latest campaign, “THINK OUTSIDE THE CASE,” turns recycled phone cases into functional, artistic pieces. This initiative, part of the ongoing Re/CASETiFY program, blends design innovation with eco-consciousness.
New Initiative Reinvents Waste Through Design
Since 2021, CASETiFY has recycled more than 2.1 million phone cases. In doing so, it has diverted over 105,000 kilograms of plastic waste from landfills. However, the brand sees this as just the beginning. Its upcoming 2024 sustainability report outlines a broader vision for environmental impact. With this campaign, CASETiFY proves that reducing waste doesn’t mean compromising creativity.
Artistic Collaborations Highlight Eco-Innovation
To bring its concept to life, CASETiFY partnered with three creative minds. New York designer Cody Hoyt crafted a striking mosaic bench using only old phone cases. The result? A colourful, functional piece of art that transforms waste into beauty. His work captures the spirit of bold design and sustainable thinking.
Cha Inchul also contributed his unique perspective to the project, expanding its artistic range. Meanwhile, Hong Kong’s reEDIT LAB designed playful, multicolour phone stands from recycled material. These stands combine function and style—proving that upcycled tech accessories can be both useful and expressive.
Free Gift Rollout Across Asia
As part of the launch, Hoyt’s bench will be on display at the CASETiFY K11 Musea store in Hong Kong. Additionally, customers shopping at select stores in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, and South Korea will receive reEDIT LAB’s phone stands as a complimentary gift with purchase.
With this Earth Day campaign, CASETiFY continues to blend bold aesthetics with sustainability. “THINK OUTSIDE THE CASE” invites customers to see discarded materials not as waste, but as creative opportunity.
