COYA Dubai and COYA Abu Dhabi, the UAE’s most innovative, dynamic, and well-loved lifestyle brands, are thrilled to announce that they will be bolstering their art and design DNA and introducing their own collection of NFT artworks.
The two unique, eclectic, and head-turning NFTs, created by Dubai-based digital and NFT artist Puja Tiwari, embody COYA’s ever-increasing dedication to supporting local, up-and-coming artists, and also serve as part of the worldwide brand’s 10-year anniversary celebrations.
Puja Tiwari’s colorful, whimsical, and fantastical aesthetic perfectly compliments COYA’s own special DNA, allowing COYA to interact with the local community, give additional perks to its loyal guests, and continue to be one of the world’s most cutting-edge lifestyle brands. COYA Foundation, the creative playground for artists, curators, and collectors to explore the new creative economy, will host the bizarre and mesmerizing NFTs for COYA Dubai and COYA Abu Dhabi.
As it celebrates ten years since the establishment of its flagship venue in London in 2012, COYA is pleased to embrace this new digital trend and take its first steps into the Metaverse. COYA stores throughout the world already display works by local artists on their walls, with shows changing every quarter to feature a different curator. COYA Dubai and COYA Abu Dhabi have added an extra depth and immersive component to their already unique and alluring art collections by integrating NFTs.
Puja Tiwari, aka @1800.Weirdo, was born in India, raised in Bahrain, and now lives in Dubai. Her work is inspired by her vivid and elaborate dreams and nightmares. She began investing in art as a creative outlet during her corporate career, and now she is enamored with the power and limitless potential of digital collage art. Her work has previously been displayed in prestigious NFT exhibitions across Dubai and Bahrain, driven by a goal to allow viewers to experience new and strange sentiments such as a want to visit somewhere that doesn’t exist or missing someone they don’t truly know.
