To celebrate ten years since its revival, Czapek & Cie introduces the Time Jumper Anniversary Limited Edition — a striking fusion of heritage craftsmanship and futuristic design. Inspired by François Czapek’s 19th-century pocket watches, the piece embodies the brand’s commitment to blending tradition and innovation.
A Modern Take on a Classic Form
Available in stainless steel or 18k gold, the Time Jumper features a 40.5mm case topped with a half-hunter cover etched in a three-dimensional guilloché pattern. The intricate design creates the illusion of a black hole, drawing attention to the watch’s unique center a jumping hour display. Hours are revealed across two sapphire discs, while minutes sweep around a peripheral ring, showcasing Czapek’s technical artistry and poetic engineering.
This dynamic interplay of motion and geometry reflects the maison’s “head in the sky, feet on the ground” philosophy. It also recalls the vortex-inspired guilloché seen on the Antarctique Tourbillon, uniting past inspirations with forward-looking design cues.
Inside the Movement
Powering the Time Jumper is the Calibre 10.1, a compact self-winding mechanical movement visible through the transparent caseback. It offers a 60-hour power reserve and beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour, ensuring precise performance while maintaining elegance.
The stainless steel model is priced at 42,000 CHF (approximately $52,500 USD), and the gold edition retails for 64,000 CHF (around $80,000 USD). Both versions will be available through Czapek’s website, its Geneva boutique, and select authorized dealers worldwide.
