American artist Daniel Arsham has partnered with the World Poker Tour (WPT) to design a limited-edition poker set. Known for his “future relic” style, Arsham reimagines the classic poker game with a modern, sculptural touch.
This exclusive WPT Arsham Poker Set is the first collectible design product from the World Poker Tour. Limited to just 100 sets worldwide, it includes 350 ceramic poker chips, two decks of linen-covered cards, and an anodized aluminum dealer button. All of these elements come in a custom aluminum case, adding a sleek and refined finish.
A Vision of Elegance and History
As an avid poker player, Arsham wanted to create a set that reflects the game’s rich history while embracing modern innovation. He carefully selected materials and textures to enhance both durability and sophistication.
The dealer button and case feature curved designs, mirroring the sculptural forms seen in his other works. Meanwhile, the playing cards showcase three-dimensional imagery inspired by classical sculptures. This artistic approach aligns with Arsham’s signature theme of blending history with contemporary aesthetics.
A Collectible for Poker Enthusiasts
WPT CEO Adam Pliska emphasized that this collaboration captures the essence of poker—steeped in tradition yet constantly evolving. The fusion of classical influences with modern craftsmanship results in a set that is both functional and visually striking.
Arsham has explored various creative disciplines, from architecture to fashion. His interior design practice, Snarkitecture, is known for pushing the boundaries of materials and structures.
With intricate details and premium materials, the WPT Arsham Poker Set is more than just a game accessory. It is a collector’s item that reflects both artistic vision and poker’s enduring appeal. This rare set will be available in limited quantities, making it a must-have for enthusiasts and art lovers alike.
