DIFC Art Nights is returning for its 15th edition on March 16-17, 2023, at Gate Village, Dubai, with the theme of “Art for Change: Building a Sustainable Future”. The event aims to showcase the impact of art on promoting sustainability and inspire artists to play an active role in encouraging positive change through their art.
This edition of DIFC Art Nights will align with DIFC’s longstanding commitment to sustainability on the Path to COP28. It will offer a unique and creative way for the public to explore sustainability through art.
DIFC Art Nights will feature an array of exhibits from both international and local artists, including works on display from the trailblazing Emirati photographer and artist Jassim Al Awadhi. Abda Fayyaz’s art reflects oneness with nature and how we are all connected. Gallery Inside The Box, an NFT-based artistic initiative created using sustainable materials, will also present its artworks.
This event will be a platform for young people to engage in the art world meaningfully. Young artists from Royal Guildford Grammar School, Jumeirah Baccalaureate School, and GEMS Wellington School from Dubai and Qatar will showcase their works of art, which will be available for purchase on the night. The proceeds from the sales will directly benefit people of determination.
DIFC Art Nights will also invite visitors to attend panel discussions at Gate Village, Centre Stage, on March 16, 2023, 7:30 pm onwards, to engage with art experts on the importance of making art accessible to all. The discussions will also aim to consolidate the emirate’s stature as a global destination for culture, innovation, and talent.
In conclusion, DIFC Art Nights on March 16-17, 2023, will be an excellent opportunity to explore the impact of art on sustainability and encourage positive change through art. Don’t miss the chance to see exhibits from international and local artists, engage in panel discussions, and support young artists.
