Diptyque has introduced “Lazulio,” the final addition to its Les Essences de Diptyque collection. The Eau de Parfum draws on the shimmering elegance of peacock feathers and the crystalline beauty of lapis lazuli. Perfumer Quentin Bisch created the composition to balance freshness, warmth, and refinement in equal measure.
“Lazulio” opens with a sparkling rhubarb accord that immediately catches attention. This vibrant top note softens into creamy benzoin, delivering warmth and comfort. Haitian vetiver adds vivid woody-citrus undertones, while rose delicately lifts the profile, reflecting the iridescent play of feather colours.
Responsible sourcing and refined craftsmanship
Diptyque underscores its commitment to sustainability through its sourcing practices. The benzoin resin is collected in Laos by local communities under strict environmental standards, ensuring transparency and responsible harvesting. These efforts highlight the brand’s dedication to protecting natural resources while producing sophisticated fragrances.
Presented in the iconic oval Les Essences bottle, “Lazulio” features engraved detailing and artwork by Nigel Peake. His peacock-inspired watercolour design echoes the fragrance’s hypnotic blue theme. The refillable glass bottle and recyclable packaging further align with Diptyque’s eco-conscious ethos.
Pricing and availability
“Lazulio” is offered in a 100ml size priced at $340 USD or $2,500 HKD. It is now available through Diptyque’s boutiques and official channels, completing the brand’s celebrated Les Essences collection.
