Beginning on Friday and lasting through the entire month of February, the United Arab Emirates will host the tenth Ras Al Khaimah Fine Arts Festival. Creatives from all over the world will travel to Ras Al Khaimah to share their original ideas on nature, Ras Al Khaimah’s rich and diversified cultural legacy, and its relationship to environmental preservation for a sustainable future.
The capital and largest city of the Ras Al Khaimah Emirate, Ras Al Khaimah is also the sixth-largest city in the United Arab Emirates. To draw a large audience, more than 120 artists from 25 different nations will present culinary experiences, art displays, and works of all kinds.
The festival, which is open to everyone, strives to establish Al Jazeera Al Hamra as a centre for innovation. The Festival, which aspires to promote the appeal of art among young people and the community and reinforce the emirate’s status as a hub of innovation and human creativity, soon established itself as a Ras Al Khaimah institution.
In addition, starting on February 1, Dubai will host the Emirates Airlines Dubai Literature Festival, which will mark its 15th year and is one of the most eagerly awaited literary events in the Middle East. The festival will bring together approximately 250 writers from all over the world, many of them are well-known authors from previous festivals, to reflect the theme of this year—”Old Friends.”
