The first actual NFT store, situated at the Mall of the Emirates, will open shortly in Dubai. The ftNFT Shop, run by global IT company SoftConstruct, will let users explore, purchase, and sell NFTs in person.
The company stated in a statement that visitors may use a professional 3D scanner to build 3D avatars of themselves as well as engage with and view a distinctive diversity of physical art. The NFT artists and exhibitors from the area will be available for customers to speak with and learn more about during the store opening.
“Among the attendees will be Amrita Sethi, the first NFT artist in the UAE and one that has created an original style of bringing art to life and vice versa through Voice Note Art. We will also see a wide collection of AKNEYE, a number of hand painted and unique eye sculptures, alongside the exclusive art toys by Chiko & Roko, all exhibited within the shop,” the company said.
However, a “special pass” is required to take part in the grand opening has been created in the form of a free NFT that a visitor can claim in order to gain entry to the grand event.
ftNFT Shop will open a second store in Dubai Mall, allowing visitors to “learn more about the marketplace and take part however they like,” the company. ftNFT Shop’s Mall of the Emirates branch will open on December 22, Thursday.
