Dubai Police have unveiled their latest patrol vehicle — the fully electric Lotus Emeya-S — during the World Police Summit at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This move underscores the force’s continued commitment to sustainability, innovation, and high-tech mobility solutions. The Emeya-S will be deployed across prestigious locations including Burj Khalifa, Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, and Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR).
Designed to blend performance with eco-conscious engineering, the Emeya-S delivers 603 horsepower and accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.2 seconds. Moreover, it offers a top speed of 155 mph and an impressive range of up to 372 miles per charge. These specifications not only enable agile performance but also support the emirate’s clean energy goals. Importantly, the vehicle integrates autonomous driving technology, a high-tech digital cockpit, and futuristic design cues.
Strategic Partnerships and Sustainability Goals
The unveiling was led by Expert Major General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, alongside senior Dubai Police officials and Mr. Ramzi Al Atat, representing Lotus. Major General Al Mansouri emphasised the strategic value of such partnerships. He noted that integrating high-profile, sustainable patrol vehicles enhances operational readiness while engaging both residents and tourists in meaningful ways.
This collaboration reflects a broader alignment between Dubai Police and Lotus, as both organisations prioritise innovation in mobility and public service. By incorporating electric vehicles into its luxury fleet, Dubai Police not only boost patrol efficiency but also promote the use of environmentally friendly technologies across public sectors.
A Fleet That Turns Heads and Sets Standards
The Lotus Emeya-S now joins a world-renowned lineup of exotic police cars that includes the recently unveiled MANSORY Rolls-Royce Cullinan and the Lamborghini Urus Performante. Each vehicle in the fleet serves as a statement of Dubai’s forward-thinking approach to urban safety, mobility, and sustainability.
As Dubai continues to position itself as a global leader in smart city infrastructure and green innovation, its police force sets an example by adopting cutting-edge technologies that reflect both luxury and environmental responsibility.
