The Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) 2026–2027 is expected to return in December 2026 and continue into January 2027, bringing weeks of retail promotions, live entertainment, and family-friendly experiences across Dubai. While the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) has not yet confirmed the official dates for the 32nd edition, the festival traditionally transforms the city into one of the world’s largest shopping and entertainment destinations during the winter season.
The previous edition, the 31st Dubai Shopping Festival, ran from 5 December 2025 to 11 January 2026. Consequently, visitors and retailers are anticipating a similar schedule for the upcoming edition, which is expected to feature major discounts, cultural events, and large-scale public celebrations across the emirate.
Retail Offers and Entertainment Across Dubai
More than 800 local and international brands are expected to participate, offering discounts ranging from 30% to 75% on fashion, electronics, beauty products, jewellery and home décor. Major retail destinations, including Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates and Deira Gold Souk, are likely to host exclusive promotions, extended shopping hours and limited-time offers throughout the festival.
Meanwhile, DSF has become equally known for its entertainment programme. Visitors can expect the return of the popular DSF Drone Shows above Bluewaters and The Beach at JBR, alongside fireworks displays, live concerts, art installations and family activities. These attractions have helped position the festival as more than a retail event, combining shopping with cultural and leisure experiences that attract millions of visitors annually.
Prize Draws and Visitor Planning
The Dubai Shopping Festival is also recognised for its high-profile prize promotions. Previous editions featured raffles offering luxury vehicles, cash prizes and gold rewards, encouraging shoppers to participate through qualifying purchases. Details of the 2026–2027 promotions are expected to be announced closer to the festival.
Travellers planning to visit Dubai during DSF are encouraged to book flights and accommodation well in advance, as the festival coincides with the UAE’s peak winter tourism season and New Year celebrations. Furthermore, visitors should monitor official festival channels for announcements on Daily Surprises, which provide 24-hour flash deals at participating retailers.
As Dubai continues to strengthen its position as a global shopping and tourism destination, the Dubai Shopping Festival 2026–2027 is expected to once again combine retail, entertainment and cultural programming into one of the city’s most anticipated annual events. Official dates and the full programme will be announced by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism ahead of the festival.
