Ebtisam Abdulaziz is a versatile artist and writer known for her exploration of identity and culture through various artistic mediums. Her art has been displayed at renowned institutions such as The Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris, France; The Kunst Museum in Bonn, Germany; The Mori Art Museum in Tokyo, Japan; and the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi. Additionally, her work has been exhibited across the United States, including at the FotoFest Biennial in Houston, Texas, and the American University Museum at the Katzen Arts Center.
Abdulaziz’s artistic contributions have earned her a place in international collections, both public and private. Her video work, “Autobiography 2007,” was acquired by the Guggenheim Museum in Abu Dhabi, further cementing her reputation as a significant artist. In recognition of her influence and achievements, she was named one of the 100 powerful Arab Women of 2013.
