DESCRIPTION:Dubai Culture has unveiled the call for submissions for the 12th iteration of the Sikka Art and Design Festival. Set to occur from February 23 to March 3\, 2024\, under the esteemed patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum\, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and member of the Dubai Council\, the event invites emerging and established Emirati artists\, as well as those in the UAE and GCC regions\, to partake in this vibrant celebration of creativity. Diverse art forms\, encompassing visual arts\, sculpture\, photography\, design\, and more\, can be showcased. The festival will not only display artistic talent but will also host workshops\, performances\, and insightful discussions\, aligning with the ‘Sikka Platform’ and ‘Dubai Art Season’. Applications are welcome until September 15 for those eager to contribute to the cultural enrichment of the region.
