The first phase of the Expo City Dubai has begun today, on the 1st of September 2022. There is no need to worry about missing out on all the attractions, as only a handful of them will open this week.

The main launch of the Expo City Dubai is scheduled for October 1st, 2022. We completely understand that there are fans out there who cannot wait to be part of the expo with their friends, as the site of the expo has been accessible to the public for the past six months after all.

The spot is being renamed Expo City 2020 and will be a clean, green, tech-enabled city of the future driven by sustainability, innovation, education, and entertainment. This place stands to be the blueprint for ‘green’ urban planning around the globe.

Expo City Dubai will be exactly where Expo 2020 was. The site is reachable by  Dubai Metro via Expo 2020 station. There are plans in motion to have buggies, scooters, and bicycles be the modes of transport used in the zone. Remember, cars will not be allowed in Expo City Dubai.

Expo City Dubai is a hub for sustainability, innovation, education, and entertainment. Its most popular pavilions are Alif, The Mobility Pavilion, and Terra, The Sustainability Pavilion from this week. A new exhibition called Stories of Nations is being added to the roster of existing exhibitions.

Entry is free to Expo City Dubai but to visit the attractions there will be a fee. Tickets cost Dhs50 per person per pavilion and they will be open daily from 10 am to 6 pm.

Purchase your tickets at www.expocitydubai.com or the four box offices at Expo City Dubai.
