The gallery describes this dual exhibition as a “visual journey into narratives in the Golan Heights that touch upon memory, myths, and daily life.” A certain white aura envelops the subjects of the art, defining the theme that Al-Halabi has chosen, ‘Mist’.

The artist represents daily life through Arabic letters, colors, and lines.

Safadi introduce salt to her paintings, granting them a mist-like effect as if she were painting them from memory. It gives her work an appearance of something being projected from memory.

Her inspirations come from childhood memories and her beliefs.

Monochrome is the connecting thread that the artists have chosen to represent. Here, Al-Halabi represents the passage of time amidst contradictions of the present and the future based on today’s political and economic situation.
