Google Arts & Culture, which allows users access to over 2000 cultural institutions from across the world through its website and app, announced the debut of the Expo 2020 Dubai virtual collection today.
People all over the world will be able to enjoy the finest of Expo 2020 wherever they are, thanks to the Expo 2020 Dubai collection. The project includes sculptures by famous artists Olafur Eliasson and Yinka Shonibare CBE, as well as a spectacular public art program at the Expo site.
People all over the world can learn more about the architectural concepts behind the thematic pavilions, Mission Possible – The Opportunity Pavilion, Alif – The Mobility Pavilion, Terra – The Sustainability Pavilion, and Al Wasl Plaza, which hosted landmark performances, through Expo 2020 Dubai’s virtual collection on Google Arts & Culture.
Zooming into the gorgeous facades of 192 country pavilions, including the United Kingdom, Italy, India, and Austria, is another feature of the project.

Expo 2020 Dubai is the newest initiative of Google Arts & Culture in the Middle East and North Africa region. Google formerly collaborated with the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority, the UAE National Archive, and the Barjeel Art Foundation in the UAE to enable people from all over the world to learn more about the UAE’s rich cultural legacy and dynamic art scene.
