Japanese fashion creativity and American denim heritage unite once more as eYe JUNYA WATANABE MAN teams up with Tokyo’s famed vintage shop BerBerJin and Levi’s for their third collaborative release. This latest project celebrates a fusion of vintage authenticity and advanced print techniques, continuing the partnership that first began during the Spring/Summer 2022 season.
Rare Vintage Denim Meets Innovative Design
For this edition, the collection spotlights two distinctive transfer print styles applied to a curated denim jacket and jeans set. The lineup revisits iconic Levi’s silhouettes, including the 507XX and the 70505 denim jackets. Alongside these, BerBerJin introduces rare vintage pieces such as a boyfriend-fit version of the 501XX jeans and a pair of boot-cut 607s.
What sets each item apart is the meticulous use of 3D digital printing, which replicates the color fading and wear unique to vintage denim. As a result, no two pieces are identical, offering collectors and denim enthusiasts garments that balance nostalgia with innovation.
Official Release Set for April 18
The three-way collaboration will officially launch on April 18 at select eYe JUNYA WATANABE MAN retailers. Fans eager to explore the craftsmanship behind this latest drop can also revisit previous pieces from the partnership on HBX, where earlier collections have been well-received by both fashion purists and collectors alike.
This release once again highlights Junya Watanabe’s signature approach to blending classic workwear elements with experimental design, while BerBerJin’s deep archive of vintage Levi’s pieces continues to offer the perfect canvas for this ongoing creative dialogue.
