Anais Gonzalez describes herself as an illustrator who does what she enjoys. Her work focuses on portraits, which frequently are fan art. She uses strokes to portray feelings and sensitivities through drawing, more specifically sketching.
Anais has been drawing since a very young age. She already had a fanart group of folks that enjoyed her work. Her drawings evolved from realism into sketches once she found that she could draw quickly which resulted in an increased fan base on her social media accounts where she uploaded her artworks.
She primarily works in black and white, and graphite, like paper, is her preferred medium. Even though occasionally employs color, she never alters the surface of her illustrations. Also, attempt to help others as much as possible with this method via social media.
Her style is light and breezy. Simultaneously, she works from realism, but not to the point where it appears finished. Although enjoys that look as well, she has evolved into what she is now. Working with chiaroscuro and hatching is her favorite part of the drawing.
“My major goal is to express myself when drawing and to elicit varied emotions in others through my art. I make an effort to be as happy as possible by first pleasing myself with my artwork, which is a challenging undertaking. I’m aware that I’m still learning, as we all are, and that I’m too young to know where I want to go in the world of art. The only thing I know is that I’m currently attempting to establish a link between the audience and my work to make them feel represented and inspired by it”, said Anais
