Feng Chen Wang Celebrates Decade With Nature-Inspired Collection

Feng Chen Wang has unveiled her Spring/Summer 2026 collection, marking a decade of boundary-pushing fashion. This milestone presentation blended personal storytelling, artisanal craft, and a deep reverence for nature. Held during Paris Fashion Week, the show symbolised a creative rebirth for the brand as it enters its second decade.

Nature and Craft at the Core

At the heart of this season’s offering is a refined conversation with nature. Wang’s signature botanical dyeing technique remains central to the collection. Fresh leaves are pressed into 45cm-wide handwoven cotton using a high-heat process. The result? Ethereal, organic imprints that make each garment completely unique. Raw fabric edges remain exposed, embracing the Japanese concept of wabi-sabi — beauty found in imperfection.

The colour palette echoes the natural world. Earthy greens, Wang’s signature bamboo leaf motifs, soft pinks, and gentle beiges evoke both strength and renewal. The textures and finishes honour the fluid relationship between the organic and the architectural.

Innovative Tailoring and Debuts

Utility takes on new meaning as traditional suits are reimagined through lightweight materials, sculptural pleats, and architectural forms. For the first time, plaid appears in Wang’s design vocabulary, shaped into structured silhouettes via bold 3D tailoring. Knitwear adds to the tactile storytelling, with unconventional yarn work enhancing its natural quality.

The show also highlighted the brand’s ongoing collaboration with Converse. The new 2-in-1 Chuck 70 sneaker made its debut, extending the brand’s dialogue with functional design and cultural crossover.

Westbrook Walks, Emotion Leads

Adding to the emotional tone of the night, NBA star and long-time friend Russell Westbrook made a surprise runway appearance. Wearing two distinctive looks, Westbrook’s participation celebrated not just the brand’s milestone, but also the bond between community and creativity.

A Decade Behind, a Future Ahead

This collection looked back while moving forward. It honoured Feng Chen Wang’s foundational pillars—nature, craftsmanship, and progressive design—yet also explored new territory defined by vulnerability, freedom, and self-expression. Notably, lace featured prominently throughout, adding softness and composure to bold silhouettes.

As the brand steps into its next chapter, SS26 is more than a seasonal showcase. It is a statement of growth, rooted in tradition but blooming with possibility.
