Ferrari is honoring nearly eight decades of automotive excellence with a striking exhibition titled “Ferrari Collectibles: Symbols of a Legacy”, unveiled at Milan Design Week 2025. The showcase, taking place from April 7 to 13 at the Ferrari Boutique on Via Giovanni Berchet 2, presents a curated collection of rare components and design artifacts that celebrate the brand’s racing pedigree and technological milestones.

These exclusive pieces, each a physical fragment of Ferrari’s storied past, have been crafted with the mantra “Born for Speed, Reborn for Beauty” — encapsulating the transformation of functional high-performance elements into timeless design objects.

Showcase Features F1 Pistons, LaFerrari V12s, and Legendary Engine Components

Among the most compelling highlights are engine parts drawn directly from Ferrari’s Formula 1 and prototype history. These include the Tipo 048B V10 engine, which powered Michael Schumacher’s 1999 title-winning F399, and the hybrid V12 engine that defined the revolutionary LaFerrari prototype.

Also featured are components from other notable F1 machines such as the F2003-GA, F60, F150° Italia, and the F1-2000, each representing a milestone in the Scuderia’s pursuit of performance and innovation. Each collectible has been meticulously preserved and repurposed to highlight the raw beauty and engineering mastery behind Ferrari’s success.

Design Language Inspired by Minimalist Architecture and Ferrari’s Emotional Legacy

Flavio Manzoni, Ferrari’s Chief Design Officer, guided the creative vision of the collectibles, blending industrial engineering with contemporary design aesthetics. Speaking on the process, Manzoni explained, “We aimed to dematerialize everything unnecessary, to reveal the emotion of the project.”

Drawing heavily from minimalist architecture, the collection emphasizes structural purity and visual lightness, allowing the heritage components to shine as standalone works of art. These pieces, once buried in the heart of race-winning engines, now serve as symbols of Ferrari’s continued devotion to both form and function.

Limited Display Runs Through April 13 at Ferrari Boutique in Milan

The Ferrari Collectibles will be on display for a limited time during Milan Design Week 2025, offering Ferrari enthusiasts, collectors, and design aficionados a rare glimpse into the brand’s mechanical soul. Presented in a curated boutique setting, the collection bridges the world of high-speed racing and elegant Italian design.

As Ferrari approaches its 80th anniversary, this exhibition stands as a testament to the company’s unmatched legacy and forward-looking creativity. It is a celebration not only of performance, but of the lasting emotional resonance that Ferrari’s machines inspire around the world.
