Willis Hughes, the midcentury home was inspired by The Fountainhead — Ayn Rand’s novel whose protagonist drew from Wright’s architectural ideals. Completed in the early 1950s, the house reflects Wright’s Usonian philosophy, emphasising affordability, harmony with nature and bold geometric innovation.
