The haute parfumerie pop-up is located in Concourses B and C in Terminal 3 and serves both departing and transiting travelers. According to the French cosmetics business, the pop-up has a contemporary, refined aesthetic that is “at the intersection of smell and art.”
“It is an ecstatic experience to work with Guerlain and our partners Dubai Duty Free and JCDecaux to deliver this extremely exclusive experience to our worldwide customers travelling via Dubai,” says Eugene Barry, EVP Commercial at Dubai Airports.
With a focus on the L’Art & La Matière line of premium fragrances, it entices guests with dashes of olfactory flare, exclusive services, personalized features, and customization. To stimulate the senses, these 17 works are defined as “olfactory marvels envisioned and constructed with savoir faire, rigour, and passion.”
These are created by perfume professionals in Guerlain boutiques, who emphasize the importance of customization. There are 12 different types of the plate that goes on top of the bottle stopper. The thread comes in gold, black, blue, red, pink, or green, and the tassel comes in gold or black.
Bottles can also be personalized with initials, a name, or a short message to retain or give as a gift. At the pop-up, creatively crafted present packaging accentuates the art of gift giving. The L’Art de Vivre: Home Collection has signature smells, each of which represents a new gateway inspired by the perfumer’s olfactory memories.
“For the first time, we invite the travel retail consumer to enter the world of Guerlain, to embark on a luxurious sensory journey, a place for celebration and interaction, focusing on haute perfumery, exclusive services, custom features and personalization – a boundless playground of luxury,” said Véronique Courtois, CEO of Guerlain.
