Herman Miller has reintroduced the Nelson Basic Cabinet Series, a versatile modular storage system designed by George Nelson in 1946. The reissued collection combines mid-century modern aesthetics with contemporary functionality, offering a sleek and minimalist solution for any home or office.

The Nelson Basic Cabinet Series features six distinct styles: Basic Bedside Table, Basic Cabinet, Basic Cabinet with Door, Basic Console, Basic Credenza, and Basic Media Unit. Each piece provides ample storage space and integrates well into various environments. The cabinets are available with different pull designs, including the “pawn,” “wavy,” and “cupcake” pulls, allowing customization.

Crafted from MDF with walnut or white oak veneers, the cabinets maintain both durability and elegance. The collection updates the original design while preserving the timeless appeal of George Nelson’s work. The Nelson Basic Cabinet Series includes solid wood legs that enhance its minimalist aesthetic. This series allows for seamless integration into living rooms, bedrooms, and offices, making it a versatile choice for any interior.

With prices ranging from $895 to $4,325 USD, this collection offers a balance of high-end craftsmanship and affordability. The cabinets’ modular design allows you to create an organized, stylish space that meets your storage needs. The Nelson Basic Cabinet Series now makes it easy to add a touch of mid-century modern design to your home.

The updated collection is available for purchase on Herman Miller’s online store. With its beautiful design and functional elements, the Series makes a perfect addition to any home or office setting.
