Honda is bringing Pokémon to life with its latest collaboration. Under the supervision of The Pokémon Company, the Japanese automaker has introduced the “Honda Koraidon Project,” a mobility concept that transforms the Legendary Pokémon Koraidon into a fully functional rideable vehicle.
This project follows the success of the Toyota Miraidon Project, which saw Toyota engineers create a life-sized version of Miraidon, Koraidon’s counterpart from Pokémon Violet. Inspired by this achievement, Honda has taken the challenge further, focusing on Koraidon’s distinct muscular build and riding mechanics.

Engineering Innovation Meets Pokémon Fantasy
To bring this concept to life, Honda assembled a team of 40 engineers from its Motorcycle and Power Products divisions and Innovative Research Excellence team. Their goal was to merge cutting-edge motorcycle technology with Koraidon’s in-game abilities from Pokémon Scarlet, where the creature can navigate land, water, and air.
While specific technical details remain undisclosed, Honda has hinted at integrating advanced balance control technology. This feature could allow the rideable Pokémon to maintain stability and enhance the overall riding experience. The concept aims to push the boundaries of both mobility and immersive design, demonstrating Honda’s commitment to innovation.
Public Debut at Honda Welcome Plaza Aoyama
Fans eager to see this one-of-a-kind motorcycle won’t have to wait long. Honda will unveil the Koraidon Project motorcycle at the Honda Welcome Plaza Aoyama in Tokyo from March 7-9, 2025. The event will give visitors an up-close look at this ambitious fusion of engineering and pop culture.
