Performance and Features

The motorcycle is expected to enter production soon. When switched to “Godzilla Mode,” it accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.5 seconds. It runs on a powerful 45-kW dual-motor system, ensuring high performance. The battery charges up to 70% in just 30 minutes, making it convenient for riders. Additionally, the bike is equipped with an anti-lock braking system and traction control for enhanced safety.

A Tribute to Akira

The 1988 film Akira remains one of the most influential anime adaptations in history. Adapted from Katsuhiro Otomo’s manga, the film features one of the most memorable action sequences: Kaneda’s dramatic motorcycle slide. This moment has been widely referenced in action cinema.

Ichiban designer Ivan Zhurba drew direct inspiration from the film while designing the electric motorcycle. He also incorporated the Japanese aesthetic principle of Kanso, which emphasizes simplicity and purity. The result is a streamlined and elegant design that blends futuristic elements with minimalism.

Availability and Next Steps

Ichiban Motorcycles has not yet announced an official release date for the bike. However, interested buyers can visit the company’s website for more details and updates.
