Iittala has unveiled its latest seasonal collection, featuring the “Solare” tableware line, a concept that reimagines dining aesthetics through light and form. Beyond tableware, the collection also includes glass art, small accessories, and textiles, all crafted to showcase Iittala’s renowned blend of modernity and craftsmanship.

Inspired by the Nordic Sun

The “Solare” collection draws inspiration from the sun’s radiant energy, translating light into unique shapes and textures. As a continuation of the Kaamos series, the design reflects the ever-changing Nordic seasons, seamlessly blending illumination with shadow. While embracing futuristic aesthetics, the collection remains deeply rooted in Iittala’s long-standing heritage.

Crafted for Function and Beauty

At the core of the collection is a selection of mouth-blown glassware, meticulously crafted by artisans at Iittala’s Finnish factory. These glass pieces manipulate light and reflections, creating a visually dynamic experience. Meanwhile, the ceramic designs feature an embossed surface that not only enhances grip but also adds depth and practicality. This design approach allows for seamless stacking, making the collection both functional and elegant.

Global Launch and Availability

Iittala’s “Solare” collection will launch worldwide on March 21 and will be available at Iittala stores, online, and select retailers. With its innovative design and seamless integration with existing Iittala collections, the line offers a personalized dining experience for every occasion.
