The more we get inspired from someone’s work the more we learn and become innovative. As per Amber Gittins as well French Impressionists are a big influence on her work. I love trying different colour combinations and exploring the lightness and darkness of tone to create a painting. I watch how the natural light changes over the course of a day on a outdoors scene or landscape and I notice the forms, colours and light that occur. This is then represented through my own thoughts about these moments and into my artwork.
Nowadays world is all about educating your youth how much ever you can. In this process few institutions and schools forget to involve subjects like art for students or keep the subjects for a fewer grade. But as per Amber Gittins art is a needed outlet for us all, a form of meditation perhaps. She finds painting and drawing so therapeutic and a great pass time and nothing else matters in those moments. It is a great stress relief so she personally thinks it is an important subject to take as a student. It helps bring us back down to a place of calm and relaxation. It also allows our mind to go a little ‘fun’ crazy – and why not – anything goes in the ‘art world’.
