Image manipulation is everyplace in is daily life. it’s a sort of digital art. it’s a unique way to describe editing photos and adding filters and computer graphics to pictures to create an illusion or outline through digital means. photo manipulation has been unremarkably accustomed to deceive or persuade viewers. It may be merely a photograph that colours are converted or a photo that has been painted over, usually, they use photoshop, however, there is alternative software that can we use for manipulating images, image manipulation is an art as well.
Shaylin Wallace is a US-based Photo-manipulation artist using Adobe Photoshop. She is an independent creative artist who doesn’t follow art trends, but she loves minimalism for years and uses it a lot in her work. She has seen how many people are starting to gear towards minimalism in the art and design world. When asked what does her artwork aim to say? She says her artwork is how She communicates her innermost emotions as well as imaginative ideas and a great way to express herself when words won’t do the trick. Her work depicts growth, strength, and how internal progression is important in an individual. James Cash penny once said, “Growth is never mere by chance, it is the result of forces working together.” Is such an inspiring quote, Ms Shaylin is a true example of someone whose hard work reflects in each of her pieces. When asked how did she develop her career in this field, “I started manipulating photos on apps back in 2014 as an escape from reality. I started creating simple edits, but once I bought my laptop in 2017, I downloaded Photoshop and began to create more complex edits and realized that this is my passion. I began posting my artwork on my Instagram in 2015 and found a community of artist who also had the same passion as I did. Soon, I realized that my passion mixed in with my love for graphic design could become my career. I then developed SMW Visuals which is my own business and combines all my passions into one. In 2020, I got my business license and became a full[1]time artist and graphic designer.”
She takes pride in, how much her artwork has impacted people’s lives from all over the world. She has received many comments, compliments, appreciation, even personal direct messages and emails from supporters who have said that her artwork has helped them through tough times, made them smile or even brighten up their day. “To know that I hold such a positive impact on people’s lives is honestly the best feeling ever.” One never knows how they are helping someone in their difficult times so, they must keep hustling and inspiring others.
She initiated her very own clothing brand called Creative Mafia which is something she has spent about two years dreaming about doing. She kept holding it off because of self[1]doubt and not knowing how to go about the process, but She finally took the leap of faith and dropped her first collection on 11/11/20. Her message to fellow artists is, “If you’re an artist, never forget why you became an artist. Never forget to create for yourself and how talented you are. We live in a world where it’s so easy to get caught up with social media or trying to make others happy to the point where we neglect our own needs and our happiness. Create for yourself and never lose sight of your passion.” This message is so heart touching and motivating, she is a true example of a hardworking passionating woman. According to her importance of art for a student in your view is that Art is very important, as it is a universal language. Art brings people from all different nationalities and backgrounds together as it’s more about one’s perspective and personal experiences being shared in their medium of choice. Art is everywhere and without art, the world would be bland and unexpressive. Her greatest inspiration for her beautiful pieces is “The unknown or things that are extraordinary.”
