A new Armani Hotel is being built in Saudi Arabia. The Diriyah Gate Development Authority and Armani Hotels & Resorts have inked a deal for the facility, which will be operated by the Emaar Hospitality Group. The Armani Hotel in Diriyah will be Armani’s third global property, following the Armani Hotels in Milan and Dubai, which will celebrate their 10-year anniversaries in 2021.
For the future project, the DGDA will work closely with Italian luxury designer Giorgio Armani and his in-house interior design team.
The hotel will have 70 luxuriously decorated rooms, a high-end spa, and two restaurants.
Armani Casa will design and furnish it exclusively, with manicured rooftops and terraces, as well as expansive interiors and outdoor pools.Riyadh is about 15 minutes away from the 300-year-old Diriyah site.
When finished, the new Armani Hotel will be part of Diriyah’s diverse mix of districts, cultural institutions, museums, homes, restaurants, and offices.
The ancient location is on a mission to become the most pedestrianised city in the Middle East while honouring its rich culture and tradition, which is an essential component in the Kingdom’s Saudi Vision 2030.
