As Basra gets ready to host the 25th Arabian Gulf Cup for the first time in decades, Iraqi volunteers are decorating the city’s streets with murals, for Iraq is hosting the Gulf Cup on Friday for the first time since 1979.
The 25th Gulf Cup, which takes place from January 6 to January 19 in Basra, will include Iraq in addition to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, and Yemen.
