Clare created the new line to complement her previous line, emphasising her passion of all things quirky this time. Her new collection of animal sculptures is built around seven custom-made works of art, including: – ‘Madame Paris,’ a hare with a sassy, entertaining attitude. Clare’s attention to detail in designing her, as well as her posture and contempt for convention, define her character. She isn’t very slender, doesn’t wear sunglasses, and is proud of her eccentricities.

• Madame Paris’s two sisters, Mistress Antibes and Mistress de la Nuit, who were both designed with rhinestone crystal adornment, flowing robes, and a glint in their eyes.

The artist makes sculptural pieces with a variety of mixed media that question the conventional and celebrate all that is unique. Wire, papier mâché, plaster, clay, dry compound, and 24ct gold leaf are used to create an opulent base. Each piece is 100% unique, handcrafted, and takes anywhere from 3 to 8 weeks to finish.

Clare’s animal wall and tabletop sculptures are available right now, starting at €500. Shipping to other countries is included. Please see Jane Clare’s website for further information and a complete gallery.

“Paintings brings people together – there is no right or wrong,” Clare said when asked what motivates her to create her art. There will be no judgement. Simply the pleasure of creating something that will be loved and admired by someone, somewhere in the world, every day!”

She felt she could fly as a youngster, and she feels there is actual magic out there, which she aims to depict in her new works.
