Meanwhile, Kith has announced a major collaboration with GUNPLA to mark the opening of its official Japanese online flagship. Notably, the project represents the brand’s first step into the universe of Mobile Suit Gundam. In addition, the release introduces two exclusive plastic model kits that reinterpret the franchise through Kith’s signature color language. At the same time, distribution will run through a dedicated lottery on the Kith App starting Wednesday, February 18. As a result, the initiative positions the launch as both a retail expansion and a brand-culture crossover.
Product lineup and design execution
Meanwhile, the collaboration focuses on two established Master Grade silhouettes. Notably, the lineup includes the MG 1/100 RX-78-2 Gundam Ver. 2.0 and the MG 1/100 Wing Gundam. In addition, both kits appear in exclusive orange and blue colorways developed specifically for Kith. At the same time, each unit ships in a special collectible box designed for display alongside the completed build. Moreover, the models retain the full engineering standards of GUNPLA, including beam rifles, beam sabers, and shields. Beyond the hardware, builders can apply custom “Kith for Tetoron” stickers to personalize the finished kits. As a result, the presentation merges Harajuku streetwear identity with hobby culture rooted in Akihabara.
Lottery structure and market access
Meanwhile, the “Kith for GUNPLA” lottery is now open for entry on the Kith App. Notably, the entry window will close on February 22, 2026, at 11:59 PM JST. However, participation remains restricted to customers with a registered shipping address in Japan. At the same time, the limited geographic access reinforces the collection’s positioning as a localized flagship launch rather than a global drop.
