Apple is still months away from launching the iPhone 17 series, but recent leaks suggest a significant departure from previous designs. Leaker Majin Bu has shared CAD renders of the upcoming models, revealing a camera module that closely resembles Google’s Pixel lineup.

Apple : A New Camera Design for the Pro Models

According to the leaked renders, the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Air will feature a wider, pill-shaped camera bar that spans the upper portion of the device. This replaces the traditional square camera module seen in previous iPhones. The rumored iPhone 17 Air follows the same design language but includes a single rear camera lens, while the standard iPhone 17 retains the familiar look of earlier models.

Rumors Surrounding the iPhone 17 Air

Reports suggest Apple is introducing the iPhone 17 Air as a slimmer alternative to the Plus variant. It may feature a titanium frame, setting it apart from the Pro models, which are expected to shift back to aluminum. Apple first introduced titanium in the iPhone 15 Pro lineup, but supply chain analyst Jeff Pu speculates that environmental considerations could be prompting the company to revert to aluminum for the Pro models.

Expected Launch and Market Impact

Apple typically unveils its new iPhone lineup in September, meaning an official announcement is still months away. If the leaked information proves accurate, the iPhone 17 series could mark one of the most significant design changes Apple has made in years.
