To commemorate Formula 1’s 75th anniversary, LEGO created exclusive brick-built trophies for the 2025 British Grand Prix. These trophies were presented to the top three drivers and the winning constructor during the podium ceremony at Silverstone.

McLaren’s Lando Norris secured first place, followed by teammate Oscar Piastri and KICK Sauber’s Nico Hulkenberg. Each trophy, constructed in LEGO’s Denmark headquarters, was inspired by the historic RAC trophy and handcrafted using over 2,700 LEGO bricks.

Craftsmanship and Design

The 1st place and constructor trophies stood more than 59 cm tall and weighed 2 kilograms. Second and third place versions, featuring red and blue colour accents, measured over 43 cm and weighed 1.5 kilograms each. All designs also included miniature LEGO F1 car elements for added visual impact.

Seven LEGO Master Builders worked on the project, investing a combined 210 hours to build the set of trophies. Their detailed craftsmanship celebrates both LEGO’s creativity and Formula 1’s innovation-driven heritage.

Family Engagement and Display

As part of its ongoing collaboration with Formula 1, LEGO continues to connect with fans through interactive, family-oriented experiences. A full-scale replica of the 1st place trophy was also showcased at LEGO’s F1 Family Watch Party held at London’s Battersea Power Station.

The partnership between LEGO and F1 reflects a shared focus on performance, imagination, and inspiring the next generation of builders and motorsport fans alike.
