Italian luxury brand Loro Piana has partnered with Dimoremilano for the first time to present La Prima Notte di Quiete — an immersive interior design installation unveiled during Milan Design Week 2025. This limited-time experience invites visitors into a theatrical home environment where the boundaries between cinema, art, and design seamlessly blur.
Loro Piana and Dimoremilano present La Prima Notte di Quiete, merging design and cinematic storytelling.
The exhibition opens inside a retro-style cinema lobby, complete with deep red velvet walls, leopard-print carpet, and polished brass accents. This striking space sets the stage for a visual journey through a home inspired by the eclectic elegance of 1970s and ’80s interiors.
Dimoremilano’s Signature Furniture Meets Loro Piana’s Refined Fabrics
Each room in the installation — from the bedroom to the dining area and garden — is softly lit to highlight an artful blend of antique objects and modern furnishings. Dimoremilano’s sculptural designs, including the Valsesia dining table, Quarona poufs, Locarno cabinets, and Trivero armchairs, all feature Loro Piana Interiors’ luxurious textiles. Natural materials like cashmere, wool, velvet, and sisal create an inviting, tactile environment.
Sound designer Nicola Guiducci enhances the experience through subtle ambient audio. Visitors hear piano notes, the sound of rain, and a distant phone ring, creating a deeply immersive atmosphere that mirrors the mood of an art-house film.
Open to the Public Until April 13 With Pre-Booking Required
The La Prima Notte di Quiete installation is open to visitors in Milan until April 13, offering a rare opportunity to explore a world where thoughtful craftsmanship and cinematic emotion converge. Reservations are available exclusively through Loro Piana’s official booking platform.
