In a spectacular tribute to Jim Clark, the legendary motorsport icon, Lotus has revealed the Emira Clark Edition. Capped at just 60 units, this special edition celebrates Clark’s historic 1965 season, where he claimed both the Formula 1 World Championship and the Indianapolis 500 victories. The limited-run car made its debut at the 2025 Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix, marking a milestone in both Lotus’ history and the legacy of one of motorsport’s all-time greats.

The Emira Clark Edition draws inspiration from the Lotus Type 38, the car Clark famously drove to victory at Indianapolis in 1965. With a distinctive Clark Racing Green livery and retro-inspired details, this edition captures the essence of 1960s motorsport culture while delivering modern performance.

A Nod to Motorsport Heritage

The Clark Racing Green exterior is complemented by a black roof, silver mirrors, and a bold yellow racing stripe that wraps around the front. Special accents, including yellow exhaust pipes, a blue-anodized fuel filler cap, and hand-painted pinstripes, further elevate the exterior design, while exclusive Clark Edition branding pays homage to his indelible mark on Lotus and motorsport.

Inside, the cabin is a nod to the asymmetry of racing interiors from the 1960s. The driver’s seat is upholstered in red leather and Alcantara, while the passenger seat features black trim. Wooden gear knobs, tartan detailing, and Jim Clark badging make the interior even more distinctive, all framed by carbon fiber door sills that emphasize the motorsport-inspired theme.

Power and Performance

At the heart of the Emira Clark Edition lies a supercharged 3.5L V6 engine, delivering an impressive 400 horsepower. Paired with a six-speed manual gearbox and a limited-slip differential, the Emira Clark Edition offers exhilarating performance. Lotus has equipped the car with the Driver’s Pack, which enhances the driving experience with sports suspension and hydraulic steering, making it perfect for both track enthusiasts and road drivers.

The Emira Clark Edition is priced at £115,000 in the UK (€140,000 in Germany), a fitting price for a car that honors the legacy of Jim Clark while showcasing Lotus’ commitment to both heritage and performance.

Limited Availability and Exclusive Appeal

Only 60 units of the Emira Clark Edition will be made available in select global markets, making it a highly coveted collector’s item. For enthusiasts and fans of both Lotus and Jim Clark, this limited-run vehicle is a must-have tribute to a racing legend whose influence continues to resonate in motorsport today.
