Manarat Al Saadiyat will mark Emirati Women’s Day with two days of creative workshops and community activities at its Art Studio in Abu Dhabi.
Taking place on 28 and 29 August, the programme will bring together artistic activities, hands-on workshops and experiences designed to celebrate the achievements and contributions of Emirati women through art.
Art workshops and creative activities
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore different creative activities and try new artistic techniques during the two-day programme. In addition, special drop-in sessions will offer more flexible ways to take part.
The programme is designed for different age groups, making the celebration accessible to families and visitors looking for a creative cultural experience. Meanwhile, an exclusive Emirati Women’s Day menu will add a culinary element to the programme.
The workshops cost AED50, while women’s drop-in activities are priced at AED30. Therefore, the programme offers several ways to participate depending on visitors’ interests and schedules.
The event forms part of the wider Emirati Women’s Day celebrations taking place across Abu Dhabi. More broadly, the programme connects creative practice with the recognition of women’s contributions to the UAE’s cultural landscape.
Emirati Women’s Day at Manarat Al Saadiyat
The programme will take place at Art Studio, Manarat Al Saadiyat, on Friday 28 August from 4pm to 10pm and Saturday 29 August from 10am to 10pm.
Visitors can book workshop sessions through the Abu Dhabi Culture ticketing platform. Additionally, drop-in activities will be available during the programme for women interested in participating without booking a full workshop.
